Job summary

MSG Knickerbockers Corp. seeks a seasoned accounting professional to prepare consolidated financial statements for MSG Sports, including balance sheets, income statements, statements of cash flows, and equity; and notes for SEC filings.

The role ensures the integrity of financial statements, supports audit processes, and contributes to regulatory reporting with strong Excel and ERP tool proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in business/accounting.
• 3-6+ years accounting experience with SEC reporting.
• CPA preferred; excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient in Excel; knowledge of Oracle or ERP systems and Workiva or similar reporting tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare consolidated financial statements for MSG Sports, including Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flows, and statements of shareholders’ equity.
• Prepare notes for quarterly SEC filings and other required reports.
• Ensure integrity of financial statements and supporting documentation; assist with audits and compliance.
