Job summary

A leading staffing agency is seeking a Senior Accountant for a publicly traded sports consumer packaged goods company based in New York. This role involves financial reporting, consolidations, and intercompany accounting. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, CPA preferred, and 3+ years of experience in corporate or public accounting. This full-time position offers a base pay range of $100,000.00 to $120,000.00 annually.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in corporate accounting or public accounting (Big 4 or large regional firm preferred).
• Experience with financial consolidations and intercompany transactions.
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables).

Responsibilities

• Assist with the monthly and quarterly consolidation of financial statements.
• Perform and review intercompany eliminations and consolidation entries.
• Assist with the preparation of 10-K, 10-Q, and other SEC filings.
• Conduct monthly and quarterly variance analysis on consolidated results.
• Identify opportunities to streamline consolidation processes.
