Overview

Senior Accountant (consolidations) @ Public Company — this role focuses on financial reporting, consolidations, and intercompany accounting within a high-visibility corporate accounting environment.

Base pay range

$100,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

This position is with a publicly traded sports consumer packaged goods (CPG) company, operating globally with a strong track record of growth. The team member will work closely with finance leadership, FP&A, and external auditors.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the monthly and quarterly consolidation of financial statements across multiple subsidiaries and business units
• Perform and review intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translations, and consolidation journal entries to ensure proper financial statement presentation
• Assist with the preparation of 10-K, 10-Q, and other SEC filings, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements
• Conduct monthly and quarterly variance analysis on consolidated financial results, identify trends, and work with FP&A to provide insights
• Act as a liaison between corporate and international finance teams to ensure accurate reporting
• Identify opportunities to streamline consolidation processes, improve data integrity, and enhance reporting efficiencies through automation
• Assist with the annual financial audit, preparing supporting documentation and coordinating with external auditors

Qualifications
