Job summary

Antithesis seeks a Senior Accountant to own the month-end close, ensure GAAP compliance, and manage financial reporting for a growing SaaS platform. You will work across the general ledger, reconciliations, and audit support, partnering with internal and external stakeholders daily in our Vienna, VA office.

You will bring 4+ years of accounting experience, GAAP expertise focused on software revenue, and NetSuite proficiency, with a strong eye for detail and a proactive, self-starting mindset.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of accounting experience; public accounting background preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, especially revenue recognition for software companies.
• Experience with ERP systems; NetSuite preferred.
• CPA certification or active CPA candidate status preferred.
• Ability to work with limited direction in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Apply GAAP standards to our SaaS business model, including ASC 606 revenue recognition.
• Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules for management and auditors.
• Support internal controls and document accounting policies.
• Coordinate with external auditors during annual audit and interim reviews.
• Assist with tax compliance, including federal and state filings.
• Identify opportunities to improve closing efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with finance teammates to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
