Job summary

Netris is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Santa Clara. You will own month-end close, general ledger, revenue accounting, and tax compliance, while expanding automation and controls.

This role reports to the Head of Finance and requires independence in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. Ideal candidates have 7+ years of progressive accounting, a CPA license, and strong GAAP knowledge.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience with SaaS, technology, or high-growth companies preferred.
• Strong understanding of ASC 606 and SaaS revenue recognition.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end close, GL, revenue accounting, billing, AR, AP, tax, and financial reporting in U.S. GAAP.
• Manage end-to-end billing, invoicing accuracy, AR aging, and collections support.
• Oversee AP cycle, vendor management, and 1099 compliance.
• Support ASC 606 compliance, contract analysis, and revenue recognition for software licenses.
• Manage sales tax compliance and Avalara filings across states.
• Serve as NetSuite and QuickBooks power-user, drive system improvements and automation.
• Coordinate with auditors and tax advisors; maintain compliance records.
• Document procedures, strengthen internal controls, and improve accounting efficiency.
