Job summary

Mohawk Networks, LLC is seeking a Senior Accountant – Revenue & Contracts to oversee revenue, billing, and contract administration within a shared services finance framework. You will liaise between Mohawk Networks, Shared Services Finance, and external consultants to ensure accuracy of financial data and compliant processes.

The role covers month-end close, revenue recognition, project accounting for joint ventures, and multi-entity support in a growth-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
• 2–4+ years of accounting experience, telecom, SaaS, or recurring revenue models preferred.
• Experience with NetSuite strongly preferred; GLDS or similar billing platforms a plus.
• Strong Excel proficiency (pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis).
• Working knowledge of GAAP, accruals, revenue processes, and contract accounting.
• Exposure to government contracting environments (FAR, 8(a), cost accounting) preferred.
• Preferred Experience: Joint Venture & Partnership Accounting, revenue allocation, cost-sharing, intercompany reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Own subscriber billing lifecycle including contract setup, renewals, modifications, and cancellations.
• Audit and reconcile high-volume transactional data between GLDS and NetSuite.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of revenue inputs and supporting documentation.
• Oversee recurring payment processing (ACH/CC), AR aging, and automated collections workflows.
• Lead entity-level readiness for month-end close through reconciliations and data validation.
• Prepare accruals and track prepaid expenses.
• Maintain fixed asset register (fiber infrastructure and hardware) and depreciation.
• Review GL coding and initiate reclassifications or journal entries as needed.
• Act as primary point of contact for Shared Services Accounting and deliver clean financial data for consolidation.
• Support compliance alignment with federal contracting requirements and multi-entity structures.
