Our well know client is looking for a Senior Accountant, this role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate financial results through ownership of revenue accounting, billing execution, cost analysis, and accounts receivable oversight. The Senior Accountant partners cross functionally to provide reliability behind. A strong understanding of revenue recognition is essential.

Core Responsibilities

• Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, including journal entry preparation, account analysis, and reconciliation
• Support the preparation of financial reporting packages and management dashboards
• Perform variance and trend analysis to explain revenue and cost fluctuations
• Execute revenue recognition activities in alignment with applicable accounting guidance, including ASC 606
• Maintain detailed revenue schedules and manages journalentries
• Track, analyze, and account for cost of service, including third-party and operational costs
• Prepare monthly cost accruals
• Partner with operational teams to investigate cost variances and trends
• Manage billing activities from setup through invoice issuance
• Monitor accounts receivable aging
• Prepare and maintain monthly reporting and dashboards
• Perform reconciliations and ensure proper documentation and controls
• Provide insight into revenue trends, pricing performance, and service cost efficiency
• Collaborate with Operations, FP&A, and Strategic Account teams on financial analysis and cost management
• Support internal and external audit requests by preparing schedules and responding to inquiries
