Job summary

7-Eleven is seeking a Senior Accountant- Reporting and Analysis to ensure the accuracy of financial reporting through month-end close activities, journal entries, reconciliations, and detailed gross profit analysis. The role analyzes margins, prepares management reports, and ensures GAAP compliance.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, 4–6 years of experience, CPA or CPA-eligible is a plus, and strong Excel skills with Oracle ERP and Power BI experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience.
• CPA certification or CPA-eligible is a plus.
• Strong Excel skills (PivotTables, XLOOKUP, Power Query).
• Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Perform detailed gross profit analysis by category, vendor, and location.
• Analyze sales, inventory, cost of sales, and gross margin performance.
• Prepare monthly management financial reports and schedules.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and internal controls.
• Participate in system enhancements and process improvements.
• Ad-hoc duties as needed.
