Job summary

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
4-6 years of progressive accounting experience.
CPA certification or CPA eligible is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes for timely, accurate financial statements.
Complete balance sheet reconciliations and investigate reconciling items.
Perform detailed gross profit analysis by merchandise category, vendor, and location.
Analyze sales, inventory, cost of sales, markdowns, shrink, and factors affecting gross margin.
Prepare monthly management financial reports and schedules.
Ensure GAAP compliance and internal controls.
Participate in system enhancements, automation projects, and process improvements.
Ad-hoc duties as needed.
