Job summary

Extenteam Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its centralized team. This role focuses on daily accounting, month-end close, and comprehensive financial reporting for a rapidly growing AI-driven operations platform in the property management space.

You will prepare budgets and forecasts, perform reconciliations, and provide analysis to partners, while mentoring new hires and leading projects within the accounting group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent relevant education.
• 4-6 years professional accounting experience preferred.
• Continuing Education (Master in Accountancy, CPA, CMA) preferred but not required.
• Attention to detail and deadline-oriented.
• Strong Excel skills; Knowledge of GAAP/SFAS.
• Ability to analyze financial data.
• Ability to research and report results.
• Strong customer service skills, leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs, monitors, and/or manages the day-to-day accounting and month end close functions. Records financial transactions.
• Prepares, reviews, and distributes financial reports.
• Prepares reconciliations, roll forwards, and financial analysis.
• Prepares budgets, forecasts, trend analysis, and fluctuation commentary.
• Complies with internal controls.
• Provides financial reporting and analysis to internal and external business partners.
• Identifies opportunities and implements process improvements.
• Acts as Team Leader including mentoring new hires, leading projects, and resolving issues.
• Acts as a subject matter expert for specialized accounting areas/systems, including training and trouble shooting in area of expertise.
