Job summary

CPI Card Group is seeking a Senior Accountant with a background in Public Accounting to join our Accounting team. The role oversees entry and review of transactions, including journal entries, reconciliations, material batches, analysis and projects, while collaborating with Operations, Sales and Finance.

Reporting directly to the Director of Accounting, the Senior Accountant will handle month-end responsibilities, processing rebates, commissions, inventory and revenue journal entries, with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and COSO internal controls.
• 2-3 years in accounting, subledger or general ledger.

Responsibilities

• Oversee entry and review of transactions, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Support inventory management and analyze sales, costs and margins.
• Prepare and review journal entries for rebates, commissions, inventory and revenue.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure internal controls compliance (SOX).
