Job summary

AGE Solutions is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our remote finance team serving U.S. government contracts. You will assist the Controller with month-end close, GL reviews, payroll, AP/AR, and audit support in a government contracting environment.

You will research and resolve routine to moderately complex accounting issues, prepare schedules for DCAA/audits, and help improve processes with a focus on accuracy and compliance while working independently in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong hands-on Unanet ERP experience.
• Experience with month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Knowledge of GAAP and government contracting accounting.
• Remote work capability with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end close activities and prepare journal entries.
• Manage reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
• Review AP/AR, payroll accounting, and general ledger.
• Support audits (DCAA) and compliance.
• Serve as Unanet accounting resource and document procedures.
