Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and reconcile general ledger accounts

• Develop and maintain ICE model schedules
• Prepare indirect rate calculations and reconciliations
• Support financial reporting and audit requests

• Partner with finance leadership on special projects

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Government Contract Accountant to provide critical year-end accounting support for a growing federal contractor. This is a hands‑on consulting opportunity for an accounting professional who can quickly integrate into the team, work independently, and provide immediate value during a busy year-end period.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in government contracting, incurred cost submissions, indirect rates, DCAA compliance, and financial reporting within FAR-regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Prepare year-end schedules and audit‑ready workpapers
• Support month‑end and year‑end close activities
• Assist with preparation of annual Incurred Cost Submissions (ICS)
• Develop and maintain ICE model schedules
• Prepare indirect rate calculations and reconciliations
• Support financial reporting and audit requests
• Ensure compliance with FAR Part 31 and government contracting accounting standards
• Partner with finance leadership on special projects and ad hoc analyses
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations, accrual analyses, and account research
• Support DCAA audit requests and compliance initiatives

Required Qualifications
