Job summary

Mitratech is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our General Ledger team. In this role, you will own month-end close tasks, support financial reporting, and assist during audits. You will apply US GAAP rigorously while driving process improvements.

The ideal candidate has over 5 years of accounting experience, including time in a Senior role with strong Excel skills. This position can be performed fully remote from anywhere in the US.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a Senior Accountant role.
• Strong expertise in US GAAP required.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end close tasks including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Support accurate month-end and year-end close processes.
• Assist with annual audit preparation and M&A integration reporting.

Skills

5+ years of relevant accounting experience

Strong working knowledge of US GAAP

Hands-on experience with NetSuite or a comparable ERP

Advanced Excel skills

Strong communication skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

CPA or MBA preferred
