Job summary

Foley is seeking a Senior Accountant to strengthen and scale our accounting operations. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, you will own core close activities and drive process improvements across systems, processes, and teams.

This high-impact individual contributor role requires strong GAAP knowledge, ASC 606 experience, and the ability to analyze complex data while partnering with FP&A and business teams. The role is primarily remote with regular Boston onsite collaboration.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in GAAP accounting with ASC 606 knowledge.
• Experience owning close activities and complex reconciliations.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and lookups.

Responsibilities

• Lead key components of the month-end close, including journal entries and accruals.
• Own complex reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of issues.
• Support revenue recognition and deferred revenue accounting per ASC 606.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and support year-end activities.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends and opportunities.
• Partner with FP&A and business teams to align reporting across systems.
