Job summary

Comagine Health is seeking an Accountant to join our Finance and Accounting team in a primarily remote role, with weekly in-office support for accounts payable activities. The position is ideal for candidates in the Portland, OR; Seattle, WA; or Salt Lake City, UT metro areas.

You will manage general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, ensure internal controls, and contribute to financial reporting and process improvements while collaborating across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
• Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage responsibilities independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and record journal entries and maintain general ledger balances.
• Support monthly close activities and reconciliations.
• Prepare financial reports and audit documentation.
• Process accounts payable and manage vendor invoices.
• Oversee accounts receivable, invoicing, and cash receipts.
• Investigate variances and support process improvements.
• Ensure strong internal controls and accurate financial records.
• Collaborate with departments and vendors.
