Job summary

Comagine Health is seeking a highly detail-oriented Accountant to join our Finance and Accounting team. This largely remote role requires weekly in-office support for accounts payable activities at designated offices in Portland, Seattle, or Salt Lake City.

You will manage general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls while collaborating with internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with government contracting or FAR is a plus.
• Nonprofit or regulated financial environment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and record journal entries and maintain GL balances.
• Support monthly close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to optimize processes.
• Maintain internal controls and identify process improvements.
