Comagine Health, a national nonprofit healthcare consulting organization, seeks an experienced Accountant to join the Finance and Accounting team. This primarily remote role requires weekly in-office support for accounts payable activities at designated offices in the Portland, Seattle, or Salt Lake City metropolitan areas.

The ideal candidate has a BA/BS in accounting and at least 5 years of related experience, with strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship-building abilities.

• Experience with government contracting or FAR is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and post journal entries; maintain general ledger balances.
• Support monthly close activities and reconciliations.
• Prepare financial reports and audit documentation.
• Manage invoicing and accounts payable; post payments.
• Review vendor invoices and support timely payments.
• Investigate variances and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Analyze trends and suggest process improvements; strengthen internal controls.
