Job summary

Comagine Health is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our Finance and Accounting team. This primarily remote position supports general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting, with weekly in-office activities to support accounts payable processes.

Ideal candidates have a BA/BS and at least five years of accounting experience, excellent communication, and strong detail orientation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience with government contracting or FAR preferred.

Responsibilities

• General Ledger & Month-End Close: Prepare and record journal entries; maintain GL balances.
• Accounts Receivable: Manage invoicing, post payments, monitor aging.
• Accounts Payable & Vendor Relations: Process invoices and coordinate payments.
• Account Reconciliation & Financial Analysis: Reconcile accounts; investigate variances.
• Financial Reporting & Process Improvement: Prepare reports; suggest internal control improvements.
