Job summary

Armada is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its growing Finance team. The role focuses on maintaining the integrity of financial records, supporting month-end and year-end close, and partnering cross-functionally to ensure accurate reporting.

The ideal candidate will manage GL areas including AP, AR, revenue, expenses, fixed assets, and leases, with exposure to the Galleon program and inventory. Strong organizational skills and ownership are essential in Armada’s fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Active CPA license required.
• 4–6+ years of progressive accounting experience in high-growth or startup environments preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; Power Query or similar automation tools is a plus.
• Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP across GL, ASC 606, ASC 842, ASC 360, ASC 470; internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close tasks for assigned areas.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, reclasses, and adjustments with documentation.
• Prepare and review reconciliations across balance sheet accounts; tie subledgers to GL.
• Perform cash and bank reconciliations; track prepaid expenses and amortization.
