Job summary

Armada is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team, supporting GL close, journal entries, reconciliations, and cross-functional processes. You will contribute to month-end and year-end close, AP/AR, revenue, and fixed assets, with exposure to the Galleon program and inventory accounting.

The ideal candidate has 4–6+ years of progressive accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and solid knowledge of US GAAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Active CPA license required.
• 4–6+ years of progressive accounting experience in high-growth or startup environments.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with Power Query or similar automation tools.
• Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge across GL; familiarity with ASC 606, ASC 842, ASC 360, ASC 470; ERP experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close tasks for assigned areas.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, reclasses, and adjustments with supporting documentation.
• Prepare and review reconciliations; tie subledgers to GL; investigate reconciling items.
• Perform cash and bank reconciliations; manage prepaid expense tracking and amortization.
• Maintain close checklists; flag late inputs, open items, and risks to management.
• Assist in monthly financial packages and flux analyses; explain variances.
