Zusammenfassung

UNFI, North America’s premier grocery wholesaler, seeks an experienced accounting professional to manage wholesale accounting and reporting for natural and small business units. You will oversee month-end close, revenue and inventory, and support SOX controls while presenting analyses to senior management.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in accounting, a finance or accounting degree, and strong cross-functional collaboration skills.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years of progressive work experience in an accounting/finance environment.
• Experience diagnosing, isolating, and resolving issues and implementing solutions.
• Demonstrated experience with continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analysis preferred

Aufgaben

• Execute the strategy for Natural accounting with cross-functional collaboration to drive accurate financials.
• Lead month-end closing activities including system closing, entries, reconciliations, analytics and reporting; support audits and SOX.
• Collaborate with internal partners to provide analytical deliverables such as monitoring inventory levels, cost fluctuations, item mix and procurement.
• Identify opportunities to refine, standardize, automate and streamline financial processes and operations.
• Drive ad-hoc analyses and projects delivering insights to senior leadership on procurement and operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
