FINNess Advisors is an all-women outsourced accounting and finance firm specializing inconsumer products, investor-ready financials, and GAAP-compliant reporting. We partner withfast-growing consumer brands to deliver clarity, insight, and scalability through expert financialmanagement.

Were seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant (remote, US based)to join our dynamic team.

This role will support multiple client engagements, ensuring accurate financial reporting, smoothmonth-end closes, and best-in-class accounting operations tailored to the consumer goodsindustry.

Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day accounting operations for multiple consumer goods clients acrossvarious growth stages.
• Lead and manage the month-end close process, including reconciliations, journalentries, accruals, and financial statement preparation.
• Review and maintain GAAP-compliant financials in QuickBooks Enterprise andQuickBooks Online.
• Oversee and optimize inventory accounting, including COGS, landed costs, andinventory reconciliations, leveraging systems such as Cin7 or similar platforms.
• Ensure accuracy in sales channel reporting (Amazon, Shopify, wholesale, DTC).
• Assist in building and maintaining accounting policies, procedures, and internalcontrols.
• Coordinate with clients operations and logistics teams to ensure accurate inventoryvaluation and reporting.
• Support external audits, tax filings, and due diligence efforts as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CPA-trackpreferred.
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within the consumer goods, CPG, or retail/e-commerce sectors.
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise and QuickBooks Online.
• 2+ years of NetSuite experience.
• Solid understanding of GAAP, inventory costing, and multi-channel salesaccounting.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, modeling).
• Experience with inventory management systems such as Cin7, DEAR, or NetSuite Inventory.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multipleclient priorities.
• Prior experience in an outsourced accounting or client-facing environment stronglypreferred.
