Job summary

MoxiWorks is seeking a Senior Accountant to own day-to-day financial operations including AP, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close. You’ll work with NetSuite and Tipalti, support payroll and procurement, and help ensure timely financial reporting.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to handle high-volume AP in a fast-paced environment. This on-site role reports to the VP of Accounting and offers a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of accounting experience, with AP, close, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, debits and credits, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience processing high-volume AP in a fast-paced accounting environment.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite or a similar cloud-based ERP.
• Experience with Tipalti or a similar AP/procurement platform preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
• Strong communication skills with vendors, internal teams, and external partners.
• Comfortable working independently and escalating issues when needed.

Responsibilities

• Process and review vendor bills, including coding, posting, approvals, and documentation.
• Support payment processing across entities (checks, ACH, wire).
• Use Tipalti for vendor setup, invoices, approvals, and inquiries.
• Use NetSuite to review transactions and prepare journal entries.
• Prepare reconciliations for AP, cards, prepaid expenses, accruals, assets, other GLs.
• Support payroll-related journal entries and payroll inputs.
• Assist cash forecast inputs and timing of payments.
• Collaborate with managers and vendors to resolve questions.
• Prepare audit and tax support with schedules and backups.
• Document recurring accounting processes and cross-train staff.
• Manage corporate credit cards and related documentation.
• Calculate monthly and quarterly commissions.
• Manage procurement activities and vendor contracts.
• Perform monthly flux and variance analysis.
