Job summary

Connect Search, LLC partners with a well-established Oklahoma real estate investment and development company to identify a Senior Accountant who will own key close processes and elevate the finance team.

You will work closely with leadership, tackle complex accounting challenges, and help drive NetSuite optimization amid growth and transformation. CPA is not required, with 4+ years of GL experience and strong GAAP knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• Minimum of 4+ years of progressive general ledger accounting experience.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills are essential for analyses.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.
• Public accounting is a plus, but industry experience acceptable.
• Technical accounting research experience is highly desirable.
• CPA is not required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Own significant portions of the monthly close process.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analyses.
• Manage complex intercompany reconciliations across multiple entities.
• Maintain accounting for a large portfolio of debt and financing arrangements.
• Research technical accounting questions and recommend GAAP treatments.
• Assist with annual financial statement audits.
• Analyze unusual or non-routine transactions.
• Support NetSuite optimization and process improvements.
• Strengthen internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Partner with leadership on special projects and operational improvements.

What We're Looking For
