Job summary

Greystar is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support development and construction accounting functions, partnering with management to deliver accurate, timely financial reporting. You will bridge accounting, development, and pursuit teams, ensuring coordination across Go Data, Oracle, and related systems, while supporting business leaders with data-driven insights.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, strong communication skills, and experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in real estate development or construction.
• Strong working knowledge of Oracle or similar ERP systems.
• Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver monthly and quarterly accounting, ledger reporting, and performance reports.
• Complete department projects and tasks per policies and performance benchmarks.
• Coordinate with development, construction, and other departments on accounting processes.
• Prepare financial and administrative reports and analyses.
• Maintain and update process documentation.
• Support leaders by gathering data and resolving issues in Go Data and Oracle.
