Job summary

Beacon Hill is seeking a Senior Accountant for a hybrid role based in Waltham, MA. The position will support month-end close, accruals, reconciliations, and adherence to accounting policies.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with procedures. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting and 5+ years of GL experience, with preference for R&D accruals exposure in life sciences and NetSuite familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of general ledger accounting experience.
• Experience with R&D accruals within pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences environment required.
• NetSuite experience preferred.
• CPA and/or public accounting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned accounting processes, including accruals and prepaid expenses.
• Prepare journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities.
• Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with accounting standards.
• Assist with financial reporting and supporting schedules.
• Partner with internal teams and external parties to gather financial information.
• Support audit requests and documentation preparation.
