Job summary

State of Wyoming offers a role providing fiscal support to the Wyoming Department of Health, handling IT purchases, inventory, and p-card coordination. You will train staff on p-card policies and ensure transactions meet GAAP and state guidelines.

Responsibilities include reviewing IT requests, asset inventory, and coordinating IT installations; you will also manage TRP items and monthly IT billings. This position requires minimal to moderate prior experience in Finance and accounting roles.

Responsibilities

• Acts as Purchasing Card Coordinator; trains staff on p-card policies and processes p-card transactions.
• Audits fiscal documents (GAXs, RQS, IETs, PRCs) for GAAP compliance and policy adherence.
• Manages fixed and non-fixed assets inventory; handles FA, FD, FM in WOLFS.
• Reviews IT purchase requests (RQS), justifies, approves/denies or forwards to OCIO; coordinates IT inventory installations.
• Orders, tags, and inventories Technology Replacement Program items; processes monthly IT/Telecom billings.
