Job summary

Royal Engineers and Consultants seeks a proactive Senior Accountant to oversee project financial activities, manage billing, and maintain joint venture records. You will partner with Project Managers and the Controller to ensure accurate financial information and continuous process improvement.

You will support month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting while handling audits and project performance metrics. Strong Excel and Deltek experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 3+ years of public accounting experience.
• Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint or Deltek Vision.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare account reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Assist with financial reporting and other recurring accounting functions.
• Support audits and special accounting projects.
• Lead billing coordination with project teams to ensure timely invoices.
• Monitor project budgets, labor details, and contract values.
