Job summary

Pavlov Media is seeking a Senior Accountant to join theFinance Team. The role maintains accurate financial records, including accounts payable, inventory, project costing and fixed assets.

The ideal candidate will learn new systems, collaborate to streamline processes, and use Excel and Power BI to report accurately and on time. Responsibilities include journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close, audits, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• CPA or MBA preferred.
• Public accounting experience desired but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
• Assist with month-end, quarter end, and year end close processes.
• Assist with annual audit.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Reconcile records with internal employees, management, and vendors.
• Support A/P processing.
• All other duties as assigned.
