Job summary

FlyUSA, Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the finance team. The role covers corporate, charter, and FBO accounting, including invoicing, wire processing, and FET compliance.

The Senior Accountant will supervise one Accountant and reports to the Corporate Controller in a high-visibility environment demanding accuracy and initiative. The position emphasizes strong controls, month-end close rigor, intercompany accounting, and collaboration with operations, sales, and leadership to ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5–7+ years of accounting experience, with exposure to revenue accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Proven experience in a multi-segment or multi-entity accounting environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post monthly corporate journal entries, including accruals and intercompany entries.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain supporting schedules.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close and close workpapers.
• Oversee intercompany accounting and eliminations across FlyUSA entities.
• Support external audits and tax preparation with organized schedules and documentation.
• Lead the charter and FBO accounting close processes and related reporting.
