Job summary

FlyUSA Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant to own day-to-day accounting for Off-Fleet Charter, FBO, AP, and corporate controls.

You will supervise one Accountant and work closely with the Corporate Controller on month-end close, intercompany accounting, FET compliance, and internal controls in a fast-paced aviation environment. The role requires 5–7+ years of accounting experience, proficiency with Microsoft Business Central, and strong cross-functional collaboration across operations, sales,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5–7+ years accounting experience, including revenue, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Experience in multi-segment or multi-entity accounting environments.
• Proficiency in BC or similar ERP; strong communication skills.
• Experience in aviation or high-transaction-volume industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post monthly corporate journal entries (accruals, prepaid amortization, intercompany entries, recurring adjustments).
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain supporting schedules.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close and close workpapers.
• Oversee intercompany accounting and eliminations across FlyUSA operating entities.
• Support external audits and tax preparation; organize schedules and documentation.
• Maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls with the Controller.
