Job summary

Korn Ferry is partnering with a client in the construction industry to find a Senior Accountant. This on-site role in Burbank will own the full accounting cycle for one business unit, including AR/AP, reconciliations, and integrity between operations and accounting systems.

We seek a hands-on accountant with 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, proficient in QuickBooks Online, and a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online.
• Experience participating in or owning month-end close.
• Ability to work on-site full-time.
• Experience in construction, field services, or job costing environments, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage full transaction cycle: invoicing, collections, vendor payments, and AR/AP.
• Ensure accuracy and synchronization between operational and accounting systems.
• Execute month-end close, including bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Maintain commission schedules and validate against revenue.
• Review operational data (e.g., labor hours) and resolve discrepancies.
• Support compliance, including insurance tracking and business license management.
