Job summary

FNF is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee the daily operations of the Burbank Operational Accounting Center, supporting Direct Operations and Shared Service departments. You will lead a team of accounting professionals to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant processing, month-end close, and strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of accounting or equivalent experience.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer-service mindset with the ability to build productive working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of 8-9 accounting clerks.
• Oversee daily accounting operations to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
• Provide accounting support and exceptional customer service to Direct Operations and Shared Service partners.
• Review revenue and expense activity for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Analyze and resolve accounting discrepancies, posting errors, and operational issues.
• Review daily bank account reconciliations to ensure timely identification and resolution of outstanding items.
• Coordinate and participate in month-end close activities, including journal entry preparation, review, and posting.
• Monitor accounting processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, controls, and accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
