Job summary

Sigma Technologies, Ltd. in Perrysburg, OH is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Accounting team. This role ensures the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of financial information while supporting month-end close, financial reporting, accounts receivable, invoicing, and project profitability analysis.

The Senior Accountant will work primarily on-site with occasional hybrid work, collaborate across the organization, and support audits and system enhancements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience with month-end close, financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit customer invoices with accuracy and in accordance with contractual terms.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including account analysis and closing entries.
• Prepare and review general ledger reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Post journal entries and supporting documentation.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Support audits and interact with external auditors as needed.
• Oversee accounts receivable management and collections, monitoring aging.
• Monitor time and expense reporting and ensure accurate entries.
• Perform project profitability analysis including costs, revenue, margins, and variances.
• Participate in system upgrades, testing, and user support.
