Job description

We are partnering with a growing, profitable oil & gas company in their search for a Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant will be an integral part of the financial reporting team and have broad responsibilities.

The Senior Accountant role requires hands on accounting experience with upstream oil and gas accounting, including specific journal entries such as ARO, DD&A, accruals, prepaid amortization, and others. The Senior Accountant will also have the opportunity to assist with presentations for the BOD, work with landmen and engineers on operational accounting & analysis, and more.

The Senior Accountant will have the traditional responsibilities such as assisting with the monthly close process, fulfilling requests for annual audit and tax filings, partnering with other groups, and special projects as they arise.
