The Senior Revenue Accountant manages full-cycle revenue accounting for operated and non-operated assets, ensuring accurate recognition of production, sales, royalties, and taxes. This role suits a technically strong upstream professional who values precision, efficiency, and cross-functional collaboration within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle monthly oil and gas revenue, royalty, and working interest distributions.
• Reconcile purchaser statements, marketing agreements, and general ledger accounts.
• Prepare entries for revenue, transportation, processing, and tax transactions.
• File severance and royalty tax reports in compliance with regulations.
• Support close processes, accruals, and variance analyses.
• Collaborate with production, land, and operations teams for data accuracy.
• Lead or assist in automation and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).
• 5+ years of upstream oil and gas revenue accounting experience.
