Job summary

The Heising-Simons Foundation Finance team is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations and support a range of complex accounting activities.

Based in the San Francisco Bay Area and working a 37.5-hour week, this exempt position reports to the Director of Finance and works with cross-functional teams to ensure GAAP-compliant, accurate financial data across grants, programs, HR, and IT.

Qualifications

• Experience applying GAAP to nonprofit accounting.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including grants, HR and IT.
