Job summary

IndiMade Brands LLC is seeking a Senior Accountant- NetSuite to lead monthly closes, manage NetSuite configurations, and drive financial reporting with strong GAAP compliance. You will partner with cross-functional teams, optimize processes, and ensure data integrity across the finance function.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules.
• Perform expense and variance analyses and resolve discrepancies.

As a Senior Accountant- NetSuite at Indimade Brands, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of our financial operations and serve as the finance team’s NetSuite subject matter expert. You will lead critical components of the monthly close process, drive NetSuite optimization and business process improvement initiatives, and deliver high-quality financial reporting that supports sound business decisions. Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• Lead key components of the monthly close process, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Perform expense and variance analysis; research and resolve discrepancies in a timely and accurate manner
• Prepare financial reports and audit-ready documentation in compliance with U.S. GAAP
• Serve as the NetSuite subject matter expert for Finance; own system configuration, saved searches, custom reports, dashboards, and workflows to ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy
• Partner with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot NetSuite issues, manage enhancements, and support upgrades, integrations, and user training
• Maintain the fixed asset subledger, including additions, disposals, depreciation calculations, and supporting documentation
• Strengthen and document internal controls within NetSuite and related processes
• Lead business process improvement initiatives: map current-state processes, identify gaps, and design and implement automated, scalable solutions that reduce manual work and shorten the close cycle
• Assist with regulatory filings, tax-related submissions, and coordination with external providers as needed
• Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes, providing analysis and schedule preparation
• Provide ad hoc reporting and financial analysis to leadership to support strategic decision-making
• Support inventory counts and assist with inventory and cost accounting activities as needed
• Supports other finance and accounting operations as assigned.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required

Experience

• 5–7 years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, and business process improvement; public accounting experience preferred
• Experience with inventory and cost accounting strongly preferred
• Extensive hands-on NetSuite experience required, with expert-level proficiency in saved searches, custom reporting, workflows, and system configuration
• Demonstrated record of leading process improvement projects that delivered measurable gains in efficiency, accuracy, or close timeline

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and accounting principles
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and data analysis techniques
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and develop practical solutions
• Highly detail-oriented with strong documentation discipline and organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Motivated self-starter who takes ownership of responsibilities and works effectively with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA license or active CPA-track candidacy
• Experience supporting annual audits and preparing audit-ready documentation
• Experience with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Experience working in a private equity-backed company or PE-portfolio environment
• NetSuite implementation, optimization, or administrator experience; NetSuite certification (e.g., SuiteFoundation, ERP Consultant) a plus
• Formal process improvement training or certification (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)
