Job summary

Imprimis Group in Plano, TX seeks an experienced Accountant to join its finance team. You will oversee day-to-day accounting across multiple entities, maintain the general ledger, and support monthly close, budgeting, and financial reporting.

This role offers high visibility, cross-entity exposure, and opportunity to influence processes in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment. Hybrid schedule after onboarding (approximately 90 days) with a salary of $70,000–$80,000 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong General Ledger and month-end close experience.
• Experience with multi-entity accounting.
• Working knowledge of GAAP.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting for multiple entities.
• Maintain the general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Process and oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and collections.
• Assist with budgeting, cash flow reporting, and financial analysis.
• Monitor budget-to-actual performance and identify reporting variances.
• Support annual tax preparation, audits, and outside CPA relationships.
• Maintain fixed asset schedules, depreciation, and supporting documentation.
• Review contracts, leases, and financing agreements for accounting implications.
• Administer QuickBooks Online and maintain organized financial records.
• Help improve accounting procedures, internal controls, and month-end processes.
• Provide guidance and support to an Accounting Assistant.
• Partner with the CFO on special projects and process improvements.
