Job summary

Corgi is hiring a Senior Accountant in New York, NY to own month-end close across multiple entities and drive accurate reporting. You will manage accruals, inter-company schedules and consolidations while partnering with ops, finance, and legal to support budgets and forecasts.

The role demands a strong GAAP background, 2–5 years of accounting experience (Public accounting preferred), and CPA or CPA candidate status. We operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with ownership and impact.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of accounting experience (public accounting strongly preferred, Big 4 or regional).
• Strong GAAP foundation and understanding of the why behind entries.
• Experience with multi-entity environments, consolidations, and inter-company accounting.
• CPA or active CPA candidate is required.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to communicate with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own the month-end close across multiple entities: journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger.
• Manage accruals and prepaids with precision, ensuring expenses hit the correct periods.
• Build and maintain inter-company schedules and support consolidation and elimination entries.
• Produce clear, accurate financial reporting across entities and consolidated level.
• Drive audit with clean work papers and thorough documentation.
• Partner with ops, finance, and legal to support budgets, forecasts, and decisions.
• Identify and implement process improvements as we scale.
• Support acquisitions and new entity integrations as we grow.
