Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–6 years of progressive accounting experience, including month-end and year-end close.
• Demonstrated expertise in U.S. GAAP and balance sheet analysis.
• Proficiency in journal entry preparation, reconciliations, and ERP/general ledger systems.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to document controls for audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including entries and accruals.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances.
• Record intercompany transactions and support consolidation for US and international subsidiaries.
• Manage freight and 3PL accounting, including carrier settlements and revenue recognition.
• Prepare financial statements, schedules, and audit-ready workpapers.
• Identify process improvements and automation opportunities across the close and reporting cycle.
