Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–6 years of progressive accounting experience including close responsibilities.
• US GAAP expertise; journal entries, reconciliations, and balance sheet analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills; ERP/general ledger systems experience.
• CPA certification or active candidacy preferred; industry experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute significant portions of the close cycle: journal entries, accruals, prepaids.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances against prior periods.
• Maintain the general ledger and close calendar adherence.
• Record intercompany transactions and support consolidation across entities.
• Manage foreign-entity and multi-currency considerations.
• Handle freight settlements, revenue/cost recognition, and reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements and audit-ready workpapers.
• Identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
