Job summary

ResiBrands, based in Austin, TX, is seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to own general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end close in a growing franchise group. You will work with accounting leadership to ensure accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and implement efficient processes across multiple entities.

The role requires strong GAAP knowledge, proficiency in Excel, and experience with QuickBooks and NetSuite.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience with general ledger and close responsibility.
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and accounting fundamentals.
• Experience investigating discrepancies and resolving issues independently.
• Proficient in Excel with experience using accounting systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite).

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger activity including journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and analysis.
• Prepare and review balance sheet, bank, and credit card reconciliations; resolve discrepancies.
• Own month-end and year-end close; ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Review historical balances, identify gaps, and bring reconciliations current.
• Support multi-entity accounting and intercompany transactions.
• Prepare supporting schedules and assist with financial reporting.
• Collaborate with accounting leadership to resolve questions and obtain documentation.
• Improve workflows, documentation, and controls; identify automation opportunities.
• Support audit and tax-prep requests as needed.
