Job summary

Spire Orthopedic Partners is seeking a Senior Accountant to own major components of the monthly close across multiple entities and to strengthen our accounting infrastructure. You will oversee ASC 842 lease accounting, prepaid expenses, and key balance sheet activities, while coordinating with FP&A, operations, and external auditors to maintain close accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Four to six years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge and ability to apply guidance.
• Analytical in reviewing balance sheet and income statement.
• Experience in multi-entity environments and deadlines.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and lookups.
• Clear written and verbal communication with non-finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly close components for multiple entities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Perform balance sheet and income statement analyses; investigate changes and communicate conclusions.
• Manage ASC 842 lease accounting for operating and finance leases.
• Oversee prepaid expense process, amortization schedules, and reconciliations.
• Support process improvements, internal controls, and documentation.
• Coordinate with FP&A, external auditors, and other stakeholders.
