Job summary

Pacific Staffing is seeking a Senior Accountant for a multi-entity organization in West Roseville, CA, offering a hybrid role. You will manage full-cycle accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, inventory review, borrowing base reporting, and audits, with strong U.S.

GAAP knowledge and advanced Excel skills. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, QuickBooks Enterprise, and the ability to coordinate with domestic and international teams while

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience with full-cycle accounting.
• Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge and ability to prepare financial statements.
• Experience with multi-entity accounting and intercompany reconciliations.
• Proficient in advanced Excel (lookups, pivots, formulas).
• Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise and audits support.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and prepare financial statements.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, depreciation, amortization, prepaids, and inventory adjustments.
• Reconcile general ledger and intercompany accounts; resolve discrepancies and historical issues.
• Analyze financial results, investigate variances, and support budgeting and forecasting.
• Oversee weekly payment runs, cash management, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare borrowing base certificates and supporting A/R and inventory schedules.
• Manage large customer accounts, payment applications, credits, deductions, and collections.
• Support annual audits, sales tax filings, and internal control improvements.
• Maintain organized documentation and enhance accounting processes and reporting accuracy.
• Coordinate with international accounting teams on sales, collections, credits, and intercompany activity.
