Job summary

The Kincaid Group in Shawnee, KS seeks a Senior Accountant to own the full-cycle accounting function for the family office and related entities. You will manage journal entries, reconciliations, intercompany activity, and monthly closes with accuracy and independence.

This hands-on role requires strong GAAP knowledge, advanced Excel, and experience with multi-entity books. You'll prepare statements, assist with audits, and maintain controls across entities in a fast-paced, confidential

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, including full-cycle month-end close ownership.
• Hands-on multi-entity accounting experience, including intercompany transactions.
• Strong general-ledger and reconciliation skills with working knowledge of US GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Own the full-cycle general ledger: journal entries, accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and intercompany activity.
• Execute the monthly close on a defined calendar - reconcile all balance-sheet accounts and deliver a reconciled trial balance.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules for review.
• Maintain separate, clean books for each entity with correct intercompany elimination and no cross-contamination between entities.
