Relativity Space in Long Beach, CA is seeking an experienced accounting professional to own day-to-day manufacturing site accounting, including inventory, costs, labor, fixed assets, capital projects, accruals, and reconciliations. You will prepare journal entries, perform reconciliations, and support monthly, quarterly, and annual closes.

The role requires strong U.S. GAAP knowledge, manufacturing cost accounting experience, and hands-on ERP proficiency (Infor LN, SAP, Oracle).

Qualifikationen

• Hands-on experience preparing journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and financial analyses.
• 5+ years of accounting experience — manufacturing preferred.
• Experience with U.S. GAAP and ERP/financial-reporting systems.
• Exposure to a SOX-controlled or public-company environment.

Aufgaben

• Own day-to-day accounting for a complex manufacturing site.
• Prepare journal entries, balance-sheet reconciliations, and variance explanations; deliver close activities monthly, quarterly, and yearly.
• Support manufacturing cost accounting: standard costs, labor/machine rates, overhead absorption, BOMs, work centers, routings, and variances.
• Reconcile inventory subledgers to the general ledger; support cycle counts and physical inventories; analyze variances.
• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering to investigate transaction issues, drive process improvements.
