Job summary

Harlan Global Manufacturing LLC is seeking an Accountant to support our financial operations. You will handle general accounting, AP/AR, reconciliations, and financial reporting, with emphasis on manufacturing cost tracking and ERP integration.

The role requires strong analytical skills, accuracy, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple departments. Remote work is available, with occasional on-site attendance in Kansas City, KS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2–4 years of accounting experience.
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations.
• Manufacturing accounting experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Odoo ERP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate general ledger records.
• Prepare income statements, balance sheets, and financial reports.
• Process vendor invoices and customer payments; monitor aging.
• Track manufacturing costs and inventory valuations; reconcile discrepancies.
• Support cost analysis and process improvements.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Production, Inventory, Sales, and HR.
