Job summary

Ledgent Finance & Accounting is partnering with a growing manufacturing and technology-driven organization to identify a Senior Accountant. This position offers exposure to financial reporting, operational accounting, cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and business analysis within a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, and strong GAAP knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• CPA preferred; Big 4/public accounting experience preferred.
• Manufacturing, inventory, or cost accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Strong GAAP and financial reporting knowledge.
• Advanced Excel skills required.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Analyze financial results and investigate variances.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Perform account analyses and provide management reporting.
• Partner with operations and business leaders to support decision-making.
• Assist with audit requests and accounting research.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and drive efficiencies.
• Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and reporting.
